If you have just deleted the chat
Use Undo only while it is offered
If your app still shows an Undo action, use it immediately. It is not offered for every operation or client. Once it is gone, check existing copies; reinstalling the application does not reverse completed deletion.
Ask the other participant
They may still have their copy
If you deleted only your side, ask whether the messages remain on theirs. They can forward the relevant part or export available history. Give an approximate period and specify any attachments you need rather than asking for unrelated personal data.
Look for a previous export or download
The copy must already contain the content
Check Telegram Desktop exports, screenshots, forwarded messages and downloaded files. A new export includes data currently available to the account; it is not a recycle bin containing everything previously deleted.

If it was connected before deletion and received the messages, check the available copies in the service. Coverage depends on events, settings and successful file saving. Automatic restoration or export of an entire deleted conversation is not stated as a confirmed feature.
If no copy exists
Do not confuse prevention with recovery
Do not pay for promises of server access by phone number. Connecting a service now may help with future messages, but it cannot recreate missing past content. Review the saving conditions before relying on it.

Can I recover a single deleted message?
Check the same copy sources. A notification may preserve a fragment, but it is not a complete backup.
Will signing in on a computer restore it?
Undeleted cloud history syncs across devices. A new login does not reverse completed deletion.
