Confirm what you deleted
App, session or account?
Uninstalling the app, logging out and deleting the account have different consequences. If you only reinstalled, try normal sign-in to the existing account. If the account was actually deleted, registration starts a new account rather than continuing its history.
Check data saved outside the account
Exports and participant copies
Look for an earlier export and files you saved independently. Other participants may retain their copies of messages you sent. Ask them to share the relevant content if it is still available.
Do not assume a new account reconnects everything
Service archives need a confirmed process
Proof X does not claim to restore deleted accounts, bypass authentication or automatically reconnect an old archive to a new account. Any such service procedure must be separately confirmed before relying on it.
Before deleting an account in future
Check the export first
Save the data you still need and confirm that the exported files open correctly. Deleting an account is not an appropriate troubleshooting step for chats that are merely missing from the list.
Frequently asked questions
Will the same phone number restore my history?
No. Registering after account deletion creates a new user.
Do all my sent messages also disappear for the recipient?
Recipients may keep their own copies. Account deletion is different from deleting messages for both sides.
Sources and limitations
Technical guidance is based on documentation. Menu names may differ in your app version. Proof X descriptions are based on project materials; saving coverage depends on data actually received.
