One message may be enough
Look in forwarded messages, screenshots, exports and notifications on your own device. You can also ask the sender to repeat the message. This may solve the problem when you need an address or agreement rather than a whole conversation.
Understand notification history
A preview is not a full chat
On supported Android devices, notification history may contain text that appeared in a notification when the feature was enabled. It may omit attachments, long text or messages from muted chats. Availability depends on device and privacy settings.
If the sender deleted the message
Only an earlier copy reveals the text
A deletion event does not recreate the original content. Check what reached your device before deletion. This guide concerns your own conversations and copies voluntarily shared with you, not access to another person’s account.

Choose the correct platform
The Telegram guide explains notification copies and previously connected services. A bot connected after deletion cannot reveal content it never received. Saving future messages is a separate decision from searching for an existing copy.
Frequently asked questions
Does a deleted-message notice reveal the text?
No. A notice or deletion event is not a guaranteed copy of the original content.
Will notification history contain a photo?
Do not assume so. A notification log is not a full media archive.
Can I read someone else’s deleted chat?
These steps cover data you can legitimately access, not entry into another person’s account.
