Compare independent copies
One copy is not every revision
Look at screenshots, earlier forwarded messages, exports and available notifications. They may contain an older version but not all intermediate changes. Compare timestamps and context before deciding which version you have.
How Proof X handles versions
Only received changes can be saved
The described project includes saving received edit versions. A version can be available only if the service received and saved the relevant data. Connecting after an edit does not recreate the earlier text.
When a message was edited and then deleted
Do not guess missing wording
Access to the original text depends on which versions survived. The final text, an edited marker or a deletion event cannot reconstruct missing words. Check the available copies rather than treating an inferred meaning as an exact record.
Save important agreements in context
Verify the saving result
Keep a separate copy of critical messages with enough surrounding context. Proof X can be considered an additional method for incoming data, subject to permissions, received events and successful processing. Test the actual connection before relying on it.
Frequently asked questions
Will the bot show all changes since the chat began?
No. It can provide only versions it actually received and saved.
Can it recover a replaced photo?
Only if the earlier file was separately saved and remains accessible. The edited marker is not proof of that.
Sources and limitations
Technical guidance is based on documentation. Menu names may differ in your app version. Proof X descriptions are based on project materials; saving coverage depends on data actually received.
Want to save future messages?
Proof X works with data received after connection. Review its capabilities and limits first.
